About Shuja
Hi, I’m Shuja!
Just a few years ago, I was in your shoes — sitting the Leaving Cert, trying to understand difficult topics, and figuring out how to turn what I knew into marks in an exam. I went on to achieve 625 points and am now studying Medicine at RCSI.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand things, which is one of the reasons I decided to start tutoring. I regularly help my younger brother with Maths, and I’ve also helped a friends with Maths several times. I genuinely enjoy seeing that moment when something finally clicks — and that’s what I try to bring into my lessons.
I’m not interested in simply giving you answers or telling you what to memorise. I want you to understand why something works and feel confident tackling it yourself afterwards. Whether you’re struggling with a topic, aiming for a higher grade, or just want someone to work through exam questions with, I’ll tailor the lesson around you.
I remember what it was like to be on the student side of the desk, so my approach is friendly, patient and straightforward. No judgement if you don’t understand something the first time — we’ll just work through it together until it makes sense.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and focused on making sure you genuinely understand the topic by the end of the lesson, rather than simply memorising information.
Lessons are taught using a digital whiteboard, allowing us to work through concepts, examples and questions together in a clear and interactive way.
Ideally, have your relevant textbook with you, but this is not necessary. You can let me know in advance if there are specific topics you would like to learn from scratch, or we can work through exam papers together and focus on improving and identifying areas that need more practice.
The lessons can be tailored to whatever works best for you and your current level.
