625 LC student. UCD Theoretical Physics Bachelor of Science (honors) graduate. Researcher for Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. Private tutor for 5 years, with 20+ LC students mainly focusing on higher level math. Most recently was a tutor for a college graduate who was prepping for the US medical school entry exams (MCAT). She is now on the Harvard medicine track.

I have been passionate about teaching students and it's a great joy of mine. We in the physics world have long known that one of the best ways to learn is to teach and I see teaching as not just a service but also something I gain from. Everyone is a little different and has that “academic fingerprint” and I find that so interesting. I love challenging questions and as much as we will spend time going through concrete past paper problems I also encourage flexible thinking when we approach math. My favorite math teacher used to say “Many roads lead to Clonmel”

Liam is an amazing physics tutor! His best tutoring quality is turning a difficult subject into an easy to understand and engaging learning experience. He is very attentive to your personal needs and goals. I felt comfortable guiding the session pace and content. Liam has a wide breadth of knowledge covering all sorts of Maths and Physics. He helped me cover a large range of physics concepts in a short period of time for my MCAT exams. His passion for the material and friendly atmosphere makes for a great tutoring experience, I couldn’t recommend a better Physics tutor.
Liam is a very fun person to work with but also so incredibly patient. He was very accessible in how he explained things and I left with a confidence in maths that I’ve never had before. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Details
New Student Deal (2 left)! This is my first time using Superprof and am currently offering a deal to new students. The first 2 students that sign up for weekly lessons will be able to lock in a €18/hr rate that will be honored until the leaving certificate exams this summer (2/2 left). My normal rate is €35/hr. Group discounts are offered for group lessons and we can discuss pricing details over the phone or online. I take groups up to a maximum of 5 students at a time. My typical deal is a 2 hour session for 5 students at €100 (€20 per student or an effective rate of €10/hr per student ). I have lots of flexibility with groups and we can custom tailor the classes to each and every group's needs and preferences.
