I am a 6th grade teacher who is always willing to help my students understand their math. Math is not just calculations but skills in reading comprehension and problem solving are important too. I will help you navigate through your math with strategies to help you identify key information, and determine the correct strategy needed to problem solve.

A tutoring experience for 6th grade math students who are looking for a reteach of their lessons and complete extra practice. Each lesson will provide a reteach of topics and practice to help students feel more confident about math. I will be using OneNote (Microsoft) to interact with students virtually. Students will benefit from examples being modeled with broken down and color coded steps before working collaboratively to problem solve.
I have been a 6th grade math teacher for over 8 years. I believe it is important for students to reflect on their thinking process and identify strategies needed to problem solve. There is more than one way to problem solve!
