About Liliya
Hello, my name is Liliya and I offer supportive, structured tuition for AAT Level 2 and 3 students and beginners in accounting and bookkeeping.
I hold a First-Class BSc in Accounting and Management, an MSc in Strategic Accounting, and I currently work in financial services. My background includes accounting, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support and operational finance, as well as earlier leadership experience in retail management.
I understand that accounting can feel overwhelming at first, especially when learners are returning to study, changing career, or building confidence. My teaching style is calm, organised and practical. I aim to explain topics clearly, break down difficult areas step by step, and help students feel more confident in their understanding.
I can support with:
Introductory and intermediate Excel for accounting students
AAT Level 2 and 3 topics
basic bookkeeping
understanding accounting principles
revision support
practising questions
building confidence before exams
Lessons are tailored to the student’s level and pace. I offer online sessions in the evenings and at weekends.

My lessons are structured around the student’s needs and confidence level. I like to begin by understanding which topics feel difficult, then I break them down into smaller steps and explain them clearly using examples. I can help with both understanding concepts and practising questions. My aim is to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence gradually.
