About Chaehyun
I have recently graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University for Honours in Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology and Psychology Minor. I have many experiences in writing student essays, professional essays and research papers. I'm an aspiring future educator that is attending the Bachelor of Education program at York University, this coming 2024, to achieve the OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) certificate. Although I have had more experiences in teaching and working with elementary to middle school students, I have applied for intermediate-senior age groups in teaching social sciences and family studies, as well as taking English for my additional qualifications.

-My teaching methodology and techniques come down to active learning and practices! Although learning curriculum-based English is important as well as lesson plans, I believe using the knowledge to input them towards practices, conversations and activities immensely improves one's learning experience.
- A typical lesson plan would consist of going through a lesson plan that is made, practice in applying one's knowledge together/collaboratively, and a time to answer any personal questions or curiosities.
- These lessons would be targeted for elementary school to middle-school students.
