About Mark
I am a musician, producer and educator with over 20 years of professional experience working across live performance, studio production and live electronic/hybrid music.
I have toured internationally, released music across a range of projects, and developed a practice focused on the intersection of composition, sound design and performance. Alongside my creative work, I have spent more than 13 years teaching music production, helping students move from initial ideas through to finished tracks and live performance setups.
My work centres around Ableton Live as a creative system rather than just a production tool. I specialise in electronic music production, sound design, modular synthesis concepts, generative music systems and performance-based workflows, including VCV Rack, Max for Live and Ableton as a modular instrument.

My lessons are personalised around your musical interests and experience level. I help students make the music they want to create, developing skills through hands-on learning.
Example topics:

Lessons are 60 minutes and available online and in person in Manchester.
All are welcome, from those opening Ableton for the first time to more experienced musicians looking to develop their production, performance, sound design or creative technology skills.
