About Elizabeth
I have taught ESOL at all levels for over 14 years and I hold a teaching qualification Cert Ed and also an ESOL teaching qualification. I taught ESOL to mixed nationality classes in offender learning for ten years. These started at pre-entry level so there had to be a lot of visual learning whilst another of my groups were competent students who were at Level 1 and needed support in grammar and comprehension. I also taught at a community centre with a mixed age range of students where I had to deliver citizenship. Other students had various needs from an elderly student who needed conversational skills to help him shop to students who needed help in both written and verbal communication for examinations and job interviews.

My teaching methodology is based on the students individual needs. These can be from pre-entry speaking and listening and written English to more advanced levels. It can be English to help with academic studies to English to help with lifestyle and employment enhancement. I have taught all nationalities and understand the different grammatical needs they have. I also teach pronunciation and diction as I have drama qualifications. My teaching methods centre round visual resources for lower grade students and interesting and inspirational resources for the more advanced student.
