I have had the pleasure of knowing Ann since our PhD years, when we worked together in the same graduate office. From the very beginning, she stood out as someone who was exceptionally driven, yet equally kind, approachable and generous with her time. It therefore came as no surprise to see Ann go on to build a successful career as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Birmingham.
