About Max
Hey! I am a medical doctor in London who is keen to work with students to help them achieve their aims. I recognise the value of support in any form and it is a pleasure to provide this for others. I studied Medicine at University College London and really enjoyed my six years there. I got involved in research and teaching younger students through what can be a daunting process. I have received teaching training numerous times including while at school and look to implement tried and tested techniques during my sessions. I really enjoy actively teaching and making sessions fun and engaging. I encourage participation and I promise it won't feel like school! I strive to provide whatever academic support would suit you best. School can be tiring and takes up a lot of the day so hopefully we can learn in the most efficient way possible so you have time to do more of the fun things! Outside of work I enjoy exploring what London has to offer, going to the football and gym and reading

Extensive experience teaching and mentoring school-age and college pupils. I'm enthusiastic about teaching and prefer to teach concepts and thought processes with lots of questions and engagement rather than purely reciting information or encouraging rote-learning. I am an academic medical doctor working in Central London. I sat the UCAT and BMAT (placing in the top 10% of applicants). I am on an academic medical programme and have extensive research experience. I have taught biology up to A-level. I have taught chemistry, maths, French up to GCSE and mentor for medical school admissions (in addition to assisting on widening participation schemes). I typically teach 1-2 hours at a time but have done day-long courses around exam and university application time.
