About Katerina
I have 20+ years of academic teaching, research and service experience in an university setting. I was nominated for the Outstanding Educator of the Year for 2003 and 2008. I use different pedagogical techniques in my lessons to help students to be active creators of knowledge and ideas. I encourage my students to take advantage of resources other than standard course materials and lectures, as I think that this permits my students to create their own opinions based on reality rather than on the stereotypes.

I completed my PhD with high honors. I use creative pedagogical techniques and outstanding syllabus for my lessons. My goals in teaching are to inspire confidence in my students, developing their potential and creativity.
