About Hesham
I'm a Lecturer in Forensic Biology, teaching across several programmes and supporting students in their academic journey and professional development.
I hold an MSci in Forensic Science and an MRes in Applied Sciences (Biomedical), both from UWE Bristol. I also have a postgraduate certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and am a Fellow of Advance HE. Before moving into full-time academia, I worked in the forensic science industry, where I reviewed and issued DNA expert reports for criminal, family, and immigration law cases.

I have more than five years of teaching experience at a university and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
