About Daniel
I am a Year 13 student currently working towards my A-Levels and I have applied to study Mathematics at university next year. I am currently studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I have a real passion for mathematics, and I am keen to share this passion with my prospective students.
I have spent many years coaching junior students in my school for the UKMT Mathematics Olympiads, in which I too have competed successfully in. In these sessions we worked through problems that helped to stretch the students to think beyond the curriculum and develop skills to apply existing knowledge in innovative ways to solve complex questions.

I like to teach based specifically on the needs of the student, by working on improving areas of weakness, as well as stretching them in areas of strength, in order to build more confidence for tackling challenging questions which may appear in exams. I like to keep the teaching friendly and conversational, I will encourage an open discussion not only on what the student wants to work on, but also whilst doing a question I like the student to talk me through their thinking, so we can see if there are perhaps other methods which could be explored.
