About Moses
I am an accounting teacher, I have been teaching accounting for the past 15 years to more than 100 students in the different classes and levels in the University. My students have been passing accounting with As, First Class, and second class upper divisions and second class lower.
I am a chartered Accountant.
I also have Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) with License issued to me by the Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) qualifying me as Licensed Teacher to practice as a Teacher.
I have taught/mentored more than 2000 students on Part-Time basis for the past 15 years both in Secondary School and University, and Polytechnics in Nigeria
my students have been passing with As, First Class, Second Class Upper Divisions and Second Class Lower Divisions.
I also teach my students the practical aspect of accounting. that is, what they are expected to do as an accountant if they work in the office
I teach my student the first stage of accounting in an office or what they should know first as an accounting student in the class.

My name is Moses Akpan. I am a graduate of Accounting. I graduated with Bsc (Hons) Second Class Upper Division, MBA, Msc. ACA all in Accounting. Currently, I am a PhD student at the University of Uyo, Nigeria
I teach University students accounting, Finance and Financial Management, and also teach secondary school students accounting and business studies, commerce, economics
My lesson structure begins with:
- definition of booking, objects, source documents, books of original entry, subsidiary books of accounts, methods of preparing the subsidiary books of accounts
- definition of accounts and accounting, differentiating from accountancy
- golden rules in the posting of transactions into the subsidiary books of account
definition of accounting terms like cash book, ledger, trial balance.
definition of final accounts and its components
- the type of accounting books needed by an employer to be kept for auditors attestations
contemporary issues in accounting e.g IFRS, IPSAS, tax planning strategies, TSA, GIFMIS, IPPIS among other.
I teach my student using discussion and question and answer methods, including board demonstrations.
