About Rafsan
I am a dedicated tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. I have over 5 years of teaching experience, having taught students from diverse backgrounds, including students diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety. Subjects I have taught include IGCSE Extended Math, Additional Math, Economics, Business Studies, as well as A-Level Pure Mathematics 1 and Statistics 1. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Business Management at the University of London. I have had interactions with IGCSE examiners before which has given me valuable insight into how exam papers are marked. I specialize in helping students become familiar with exam formats and teaching them how to structure their answers to maximize marks. I believe finding the right tutor is crucial and can significantly impact a student’s performance. To support this process, I am willing to offer free demo classes to help students decide whether I’m the right fit for them. One-to-one online sessions for students taking Cambridge IGCSE or GCSE Business Studies and Economics. Each lesson is personalised according to the individual needs of the student. Theoretical concepts are paired with real-life examples to improve understanding and retention. Most importantly, we will spend time analysing exam-style questions and answer structures — a common area where a lot of students lose marks in Business Studies.
My overall teaching plan is divided into three stages:
Stage 1: Syllabus coverage – going through every chapter in detail
Stage 2: Exam-style mocks – solving past papers
Stage 3: Final revision before the exam
Additional information about my lessons:
1. Classes are conducted via Google Meet
2. Students can contact me outside of class hours via text or email for academic purpose
3. Webcam is not necessary, but having a microphone is required
4. I do not charge for overtime
