About Theo
Hi! I'm Theo, a veterinary student passionate about helping others with learning difficulties and disabilities reach their full potential. I create personalised plans for students aged 7–16 who struggle with literacy skills, and GCSE-tailored lessons in English Literature and Language for those aged 11–16 over a 6–8 week period.
I achieved a B+ (6) in English Literature and English Language through AQA in 2023, and I have personal knowledge and experience working with children aged 6 and above, with mild to moderate learning difficulties or disabilities such as Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I focus on teaching students the basics of practical and structural English reading and writing, and then progressing to English Language and Literature if a student is taking GCSEs. All lessons are tailored to the student’s needs, whether they're starting from the basics or just brushing up on skills before exams—I'm here to help :)

I use various teaching techniques, such as multi-sensory teaching, positive reinforcement, and transition planning to ensure my students have the support they need, whilst gaining all the tools needed to achieve big.

Details
I am free to teach on Mondays, Fridays, and most weekends for an hourly rate of £10. I also provide homework after each lesson for an additional £5, however adding homework is optional.
These fees do not apply on our first lesson which is completely free, including homework.
Additionally, I offer free homework and/or reduced rates for low-income students or those who would benefit.
