About Katie
Absolutely anyone can excel in art with the right tools and techniques. Currently, I'm a Nursing student at Anglia Ruskin University and my high skills in art have dramatically helped my observation skills and overall creativity. Anyone who enjoys art or has chosen to take it as a subject, I can reinforce your love for art and really improve your artistic skills.

-During our one-hour lessons, I develop their drawing and painting skills through physically showing them techniques (mark-making, shading), teach them how to perfectly annotate to get top marks and introduce them to a variety of mediums, including pencil, charcoal, acrylic, oil and watercolour.
-However, I also want my students to have fun and love the pieces they're creating, giving them full artistic expression is important to me.
-My personal approach is to create our masterpieces physically together whilst verbally explaining methods for the student to fully understand before moving on.
-My lessons are for ages 11-18 at GCSE level and A-Level.
-Previously, I've mentored at my Sixth Form.
