About Lola
I am a second year Law student at the University of Manchester. I am very passionate about helping others in as many ways as possible. I believe tutoring would give me a great opportunity to guide students through their studies. This would be highly rewarding for me when I see the positive effects of my work, as well as rewarding for the student as they develop their understanding better. I am also passionate about the need for strong education in society and would love to contribute to that in any way possible.

When tutoring I use the model ‘I do, We do, You do’. This model involves the student first attempting the given question on their own. Then, I (as the tutor) will explain the relevant information and answers, with regard to the student's attempt. After this, we will answer the question together with guided support. Finally, I will give the student a similar question which they will answer on their own to consolidate their knowledge and test their independent understanding of relevant concepts. If the student is still unsure, we will return to working together to answer questions until they fully understand.
