About Baraa
My name is Baraa, and I’ve always found satisfaction in that final 'tick' of understanding - whether it was figuring out how to solve the math problem that has been troubling you for days, or finally getting a grip on a difficult concept in physics class. My passion for studying led me to further my studies in many areas, including the University of Auckland Young Scholars ‘Advancing in Mathematics’ program (where I earned an A+ grade while in high school), and led to achieving scholarships (top 3% nationwide) in 7 different subjects. I’ve noticed that many students struggle with learning because they often don’t have the right approach or support. This motivated me to start tutoring—my goal is to help students grasp concepts in a way that makes sense to them, build their confidence, and support them in achieving their academic goals.

In my lessons, I will seek to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand concepts by using clear explanations and step-by-step problem-solving to help you build confidence and a deep understanding of the subject. Growing up, I've realized that everyone has their own distinct set of strengths and weaknesses, which means everyone learns differently! I will aim to personalize lessons to your learning style and skill set, ensuring you grasp concepts in a way that makes learning easier and more enjoyable for you. My lessons are for high school students of all ages, in both the NCEA and Cambridge CIE curriculum
