About Rizwan
Looking for a dedicated and approachable tutor to help you or your child achieve academic success? I specialise in tutoring Maths (GCSE and below), Physics (GCSE and below), and Business Studies (A Level and below). I also offer 11+ preparation, drawing on my own experience of successfully passing the exam and attending Lawrence Sheriff Grammar School. I achieved excellent GCSE results, including top grades in the core subjects: 9s in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Literature and History, alongside 8s in French, Geography, Religious Studies and English Language, and a 7 in Computer Science. Having recently completed my studies, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts in a clear, engaging way that makes learning enjoyable and effective. From September, I will be studying Mechatronics at the University of Sheffield, a subject that combines engineering, physics, and advanced mathematics. This means I can bring both passion and up-to-date subject knowledge into my tutoring, helping students not only to pass exams but to truly understand the material. Whether you’re aiming for top grades at GCSE, need support in Business Studies, or are preparing for the 11+, I can provide tailored lessons suited to your needs. I will initially do a baseline test to help identify the student's weaknesses. Then regularly, for maths, we will do questions that will challenge the student to get them thinking and I will get them to outline their working out in full. For Physics I will do similar, but I will also explain theoretical processes using PowerPoints and textbooks if needed.
