About Evandro
In moments of joy or despair, music is the universal language that anyone understands and enjoys. And if you or your child are keen to learn how to play the guitar, you can count on me to guide you to become a skilled guitar player. My name is Evandro, and I am a very experienced guitar player performing and teaching guitar (acoustic and electric). For over 15 years, I taught a range of students of all ages to take their skills to a new level. My classes cover all levels, from beginners to advanced, and I will modify my lessons based on your pace of learning as well as your goals. I’m great with the young ones and love inspiring them to discover the joy of playing music (see my reviews on this site!). I cover all genres – rock, blues, funk, soul, metal – you name it, and I can teach you to play it! I spent five years at Conservatoire Souza Lima studying with some very well known guitarists such as Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth, Angra), Rafael Bittencourt (Angra) and Eduardo Ardanuy (Dr Sin). I am very passionate about what I do and really glad to have my students expanding their musical skills and sharing their joy for music with others. I believe that learning is a lifelong process and keep exploring new styles and other ways of boosting my own skills. I got serious about studying music production, so I went back to college and enrolled in a Sound Engineering and Music Technology course. This course gave me a better insight into manipulating sound and making the most of my skills. If you or your child is interested in learning to play with passion, I look forward to teaching you. Perfect! Continuing with lessons for 7 year old
Having had weekly lessons for a few months now, my 7 year old is showing good development of his guitar skills. Evandro is good and keeping my son interested and his learning materials are great. My son is now mastering his first blues scale and will hopefully learn much more.
