About Gemma
I have a passion for performing and have found that through picking up a guitar to accompany my singing, my confidence in performing has skyrocketed! I’ve found that even if you know the basic four chords, you can play almost any song you’d like!
I want to show people who haven’t even picked up a guitar once, that it really is that easy! I believe that with enough time and practice anyone can play whatever their heart desires and I am passionate and eager to help them along with their journey!
I have been performing in a band and have done dozens of gigs for the past four years, picking up tips and tricks along the way for performing! I am experienced in playing almost any genre from country to heavy metal!
I learnt guitar myself and have ever since made it my passion to show as many people as I can just how easy it is!

Experienced musician, offering lessons to help beginners learn basic chords and fingering patterns of popular songs, country songs, Americana, folk and more! Up for any challenge, just send me songs you want to learn before the classes and I’ll have them prepared!
If you are doing guitar for your main or accompaniment in your music practical in the Junior cycle or Leaving certificate I am the perfect fit; guiding you through all the requirements as well as giving you tips and tricks to help boost your grade! I have experience in tutoring many students for the performance elective in the Junior cycle and Leaving Certificate and have even had the experience myself!
If you just want to pick up the guitar and be able to play a handful of golden oldies or the top 100’s I will help you learn basic chord structure and strumming patterns so you can strum along to your favourite tunes!
I have been playing guitar for 7 years and have taught many people how to play.
I am very passionate and dedicated to helping people experience the same joy I feel for playing!
My lessons will be one on one or group, ranging from half an hour lessons to up to an hour and a half! I offer classes to beginners of all ages and will help with any genre a beginner may be interested in!

Details
My lessons are €30 per hour! I offer 1 hour classes for €30 and an hour and a half classes for €45. Group classes of 1 hour are available for €20 per person as well!
