About Matilda
I am a student and aspiring actress who has recently completed the Foundation Diploma in Acting at LAMDA, and am currently auditioning for 3 year degree courses at a number of top drama schools. I have mentored young people in various theatre groups across Norfolk to help them with auditions for drama school, shows, and exam qualifications. I have been performing since the age of 7, and have done a mixture of amateur and professional work, ranging from Shakespeare and serious plays to musical theatre and crazy pantomime! My relevant qualifications include an A* in A Level Drama and Theatre Studies, A* in English Literature and A in Performance Studies. I also obtained an A grade in GCSE Drama, and an A* in both GCSE English Language and Literature.

My teaching method is relaxed and fun, but I like to have a strong focus on the goals and aims of the student, meaning we will work hard together as a team to get them where they want to be. I believe the best way of learning is by doing, so I like to use a very collaborative process in which we are both equal and happy. For that reason, I like to treat each student as an individual and base each lesson around what they want to learn and work on, whilst using my experience and training to help them along the way.
