About Rosie
I began teaching performing arts in 2019, teaching students as young as 4 to 18 across Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & TV, and haven't stopped since!
I studied at the University of Exeter from 2021-24 and obtained a first class degree in English Literature and Drama. Here, I specialised in early modern drama and wrote my dissertation on the fascinating topic of gender of the supernatural in Shakespeare plays. My love for Shakespeare grew, and I performed in Julius Caesar and The Tempest with Exeter University Shakespeare Company. I bring a detailed knowledge of Shakespeare from an academic/literature perspective.
I then went on to train in acting at the Oxford School of Drama, and graduated in September 2026. I trained in acting, Shakespeare, film, voice, movement, you name it!
I am a working and auditioning actor when I’m not teaching! But it's the best job to fill the gaps when I’m not performing as I love working on pieces with my students and helping them discover the glories of storytelling through acting.
I started working for LAMDA as an exam steward and have watched hundreds of exams and spoken to lots of Examiners, so I have a detailed understanding of how to excel in the room.
I have an enhanced DBS check and hold a professional chaperone licence.

LAMDA exams are a great first step for any young aspiring actor to get a taste for preparing and performing a piece of text. The lessons I provide aim to incorporate a student's interests whilst coaching at a professional level of acting. My main aim for anyone wanting to do LAMDA exams is to find the confidence and excitement for acting on their own. It’s a complete joy to get to do what we do as performers, and I want to give as much support and expertise as possible for my students to potentially be successful actors in the future.
As I start to build my roster of students, I am currently offering the first introductory lesson for free via Zoom, where we can get to know each other and discuss what you would like to work on.
