About Alicia Grace

Alicia has been coaching actors & voice artists (aspiring to professional) since 2019 both from a creative, performance side and also on Show Business, Business - the business of being a working actor.
She has worked on both stage & screen: West End, No1 UK Tours, commercial and award-winning independent films, and television (Amazon Prime USA/Apple TV/BBC/C4)
Her voice over cv is extensive and includes: commercials, corporate, animation, audio books & video games. She voices 2 characters in Garfield the Movie (released 2024).
She works as both a UK and US voice. Her specialist coaching focuses on creating a naturally placed General American accent, rather than 'putting on' a voice.
Alicia is also a freelance voice director, previous work including Jagged Alliance3, Way of the Hunter and BAFTA winning Baldur's Gate iii. Alicia is a full Equity member.

I believe that to be a good actor, we have to know ourselves extremely well. And then some. Our sessions are a combination of self-development and routes into relaxation on camera. We focus on: - Understanding and interpreting text - Technical aspects of self-tape auditions/working on camera - How to make your self-tapes more visually interesting - How to REALLY listen to your scene partner - How to move for the lens of a camera and how that differs to real-life (while still being 'natural'!) - What is meant by a 'strong choice' and what NOT to do! We work on being authentically you. Rather than pretending to be someone else. The only addition is - a script! It's easier than you think...! I work to your pace and always with a smile and a giggle. I will encourage you to be present and take the classes seriously, but yourself, never so! Due to the nature of these sessions being online, they are best suited to screen performances and we work from self-tape to scene.

Perfect! I have just had a fantastic first lesson with Alicia and as a professional actor it was exactly what I was looking for. She’s very knowledgeable, easy going and works in a way that is suitable for what you need. definitely recommend.

Perfect! My experience so far with Alicia has been extremely informative, very interactive, and enjoyable. She has been able to make the beginning of learning the art of voiceovers smooth, exciting, and engaging. I feel like I am making progress and it is thanks to her responsive and honest style of teaching. She is great at highlighting what works, and pinpointing and explaining what does not. She makes you see how you can get better, then sets you on the path of motivated self-work to make sure there's no spoon-feeding. A worthwhile and enriching time!

I am Alicia’s voice over agent. As a voice artist, Alicia is talented, versatile and understands texts and client needs, exceptionally well. If you have voice over coaching with her you are in very very capable hands. She is also a highly experienced voice director having worked on some very well-known video games (including BAFTA winning Baldur’s Gate iii).
Alicia is a great tutor with her direct and honest approach she brings out the best in her students. Building self esteem and confidence in both their work and life.
I trained with Alicia and have worked with her professionally since. She is an intuitive actress, exceptional voice over artist and an exceedingly good coach. I can't think of anyone I would recommend more to support others in their creative journeys.
