Patrick is one of our best Reading tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Patrick

I am a dancer, vocalist, and actor, with a lot of experience teaching private instruction as well as group work. I have my TESOL certification, and have spent the last few years as an elementary school substitute teacher. I have worked with students to help facilitate their in person and virtual work, and am comfortable using online educational platforms like Google Classroom, IXL, and Clever.

About the lesson

I strive to encourage and nurture personal growth and development by self discovery. I firmly believe in the principle that teachers help students develop the art of critical thinking and problem solving rather than giving them the answers outright. That said, I am firm with my students, and often ask them how they had created their final answers. I firmly believe in positive reinforcement, and praise students when they choose the correct answers or create their own solutions to problems on their own.

Patrick is very passionate about ballet and motivates his students to keep striving to get better, but at their own individual pace. He demonstrates and explains everything very well and makes sure his students understand what they are doing and why they are doing them. I highly recommend

I have observed Patrick teaching dance and I can attest his style is amazing! Patrick is a hard worker and gives 100% to everything he does. He is so talented and knowledgeable about the art of dance and all aspects of theatre. Patrick is motivating and encouraging and is passionate to help all his students be the best they can be. His patience, empathy and talent are evident with every interaction. Any student would be lucky to have him as a teacher!
