Former Math student at 'Chowan University' where I taught various branches of mathematics (Algebra, Mathematical Analysis, Differential Equations, etc). Current advanced student of Actuarial sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) where I also teach Statistics II as a teaching assistant.

Mi goal is for the student to understand mathematical concepts, rather than just apply a formula which spits a result. This way what the student learns stays with him for the rest of his life.
I adapt to the student need. Some students aim to have a good grade on an exam, so I focus on being efficient and right to the task at hand. Other students also want to further develop their math skills so they try to understand why we apply those formulas and where do they come from.
