About Jean
Reaching a high standard of violin performance requires rigorous attention to tone production and rhythm. It happens that precise tuning by ear serves as the foundation for our technical work. We focus on ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep alongside essential sight reading drills. My students gain access to recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice.
This technique bridges the gap between our meetings. The Bachelor of Music degree I hold ensures that my double stops and vibrato instruction remain top-tier. Your progress is guaranteed to be methodical

Disciplined instruction defines my approach after 13 years of classical and folk performing across Canada. My method ensures that both working professionals and absolute beginners gain a clear understanding of their instrument.
I have worked with 200 students over my career to ensure they reach their goals. Providing 13 years of experience means I understand the rigors of formal training.
My Bachelor of Music from The Glenn Gould School informs every technical correction I provide. I maintain a steady focus on long-term progress for exam candidates.
