About Jake

I have been learning Spanish in school since age 12, through to University where I earned a Minor in Spanish studies. I have cumulatively spent over a year living and traveling in Spanish-speaking countries, including 6 months teaching English in a secondary school in Spain, and tutoring primary school students for their exams.

I also have utilized Spanish in professional/business settings in several capacities— working as a GIS/Sales/Marketing Intern for a satellite imagery company, selling SaaS software to full-Spanish speaking insurance agencies, and working in hospitality and the public sector (as a Park Ranger!). Most recently, I have completed a 120-hr TESOL/TEFL course from an ACCREDITAT approved provider.
