Architectural and mechanical drafting student
with 8 months of schooling. I caught on and advanced quickly in my college level courses. In the process of earning my detailed drafter certification, and I then will move on to architectural and mechanical.

My teaching method is typically visual, as I talk with my hands (or mouse) and it is typically easier for me to guide someone through an issue by a visual representation. Drafting isn't something that is lateral, either. Everyone has their own method of drawing, and I want to encourage all of my students to find what style of drawing they find easiest.
