About Agnes
With 16 years of ESL teaching experience, I have worked with over 150 high school and college students, helping them strengthen their English skills and gain confidence in communication. My teaching philosophy focuses on communication, creativity, and student-centred learning. I believe that learning English should be interactive, practical, and enjoyable. In my lessons, I integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises with discussions, role-plays, real-life examples, and interactive activities. I tailor my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals to ensure steady progress and active engagement. Many students I have taught have improved academic performance, developed strong writing and speaking skills, and gained the confidence to express themselves effectively in English. One of my proudest achievements was guiding a student who struggled with essay writing to achieve top grades in college. I strive to create a motivating, supportive, and inspiring learning environment where students feel empowered, enjoy learning, and reach their full potential.

My ESL teaching methodology focuses on step-by-step language mastery. I help students improve speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills gradually, building confidence at every stage. Grammar and vocabulary are explained in simple terms and practised through real-life communication exercises. Communication is emphasised in every lesson with conversations, listening tasks, role plays, and writing activities. Flexibility allows lessons to be tailored according to student goals, learning speed, and preferences. Creativity keeps learning enjoyable with storytelling, visuals, discussions, and interactive tasks. Along with ESL, I teach related subjects such as Spoken English, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Business English, Academic English, and Interview Preparation. Accountability ensures regular practice and continuous improvement. Integrity guides my teaching with honesty, respect, and dedication. My aim is to help learners communicate clearly and confidently.
