About Savannah
I am a dedicated singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Vocal Performance. I work with singers at all stages, from students just discovering their voices to professionals refining their performance skills. My teaching focuses on musical theatre and Broadway, where voice, acting, and movement must come together seamlessly. I help students develop character-driven performances by exploring emotional intention and storytelling through song. Strong stage presence is central to my approach, and I guide singers in building confidence and connection with their audience. Belt technique is taught with care, ensuring power and clarity without compromising vocal health. I also help students improve vocal agility, especially for repertoire that requires fast transitions or stylistic flexibility. With strengths in ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory, I provide tools that support both learning and independence. I believe every voice is unique and deserves thoughtful guidance. My lessons are interactive and encouraging, creating a space where singers feel supported and motivated. Safe technique and long-term growth are always my priorities. I enjoy helping students discover confidence in their sound and expression. I look forward to working with you and helping prepare your voice for the stage ahead.

My approach to teaching singing is centred on meaning, emotion, and connection. Every song has a purpose, and my goal is to help singers discover it. I work closely with students on lyric interpretation so the words feel real. Emotional connection is developed through understanding and trust. Storytelling through singing is practised in every lesson. I guide singers to shape sound in a way that supports the story. Conveying meaning to an audience is just as important as vocal control. Authentic expression is always valued over imitation. Technique is taught only as a support for communication. I am especially strong in working with expressive musical theatre pieces like Fiddler on the Roof and The Music Man. I dedicate myself to refining the ability to move listeners deeply. Lessons are encouraging and clear. Singers grow in confidence and presence, and they truly embody their songs.
