About Eabha
I am an advanced violin student with a strong passion for music and plenty of experience playing in orchestras. I have played with groups such as Dublin Youth Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, and I am currently a member of Trinity Orchestra. I am currently studying violin with Patrick Rafter and continue learning through regular practice, rehearsals, and performances. Through orchestras, I have traveled and performed in Ireland and abroad, including trips to the Netherlands and Italy. I have also performed at festivals such as All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit as part of orchestral ensembles, which has been a really enjoyable and valuable experience. I enjoy teaching because I like helping people feel comfortable with the violin and confident in their playing. As a student myself, I understand that learning an instrument can feel challenging at times, and I aim to make my lessons encouraging and enjoyable.

My violin lessons are personalized to each students age, level and goals. I was trained through the Suzuki method which places strong emphasis on good listening skills, tone production, posture and learning music in a natural and encouraging way.
I have completed ABRSM grade 8 violin and as a student myself I understand the challenges learners face. I am to create a supportive, patient and motivated learning environment.
In my lessons I focus on building strong technical foundations while also developing musicality and confidence. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student whether they are complete beginners or have previous experience.
I offer lessons online or in person and am happy to work with students of all ages. My goal is to help students enjoy learning the violin while making steady and measurable progress.
