About Kris

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at California State University Long Beach in 2021. During my time at CSULB, I conducted research in Theoretical Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and the Boundary Layer Problem. After graduating, I began my career in the National Defense Industry, designing reconnaissance aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles for contracts totaling more than $300,000. In 2023, I earned the MathWorks MATLAB Associate License. In 2024, I earned my teaching credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). I have over five years of tutoring experience with students at both the high school and university level. My teaching approach involves giving students more autonomy and decision making. By doing so, my students form the critical thinking skills needed to succeed in the modern engineering industry of today.

About the lesson

Students have control over their learning experience. A typical lesson plan will look different depending on what your objectives are. - Preparing for a high-stakes exam - Missed class and learning the material for the first time - Solving homework assignments together. - Tackling projects together. What sets me apart as a tutor: I am 25 years old, so I am relatively in tune with the younger generation. I enjoy working with high school and college students because they have a different outlook on life. At this point in their career, they have a lot of untouched potential, and it's really rewarding for me as a tutor to help them tune into it. Calculus I Calculus II Calculus III Multivariable Calculus Precalculus Algebra 1 Algebra 2 Trigonometry Geometry Linear Algebra Differential Equations Statistics Number Theory Discrete Mathematics Finite Mathematics

My daughter was struggling in multivariable calculus. After just 3 lessons with Kris, I started to see drastic improvements in her grade. The magic truly does happen with the right tutor. I would definitely recommend him to other parents and friends.

Update: My daughter is now studying Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech
