About Mason
To start off I enjoy math and chemistry, they've always been the subjects that I understand well. Therefore over the years I've enjoyed helping and tutoring my peers. My intentions as a tutor is to help others in these subjects, because their is this moment where the person's personality brightens. The boost in confidence and the feeling of satisfaction strongly motivates me to help teach others math and chemistry.

My lessons includes doing practice questions together and talking about topics taught in class to help clear up questions one may have. I find my approach makes it easier for me to explain abstract ideas and have used the same approach when tutoring a friend, classmate, or family member. I always try to have the person I'm trying to help approach a question/problem by themselves and have them be vocal with what their trying to do. It's much easier to explain a concept to someone when you have an example to go through with them. Finally I'm very confident in my knowledge for math and chemistry from K-12.
