About Jakob
Hi! My name is Jakob and I am going into my third year studying aerospace engineering at Cal Poly Slo! I have always found that subjects like math and science have come the easiest and been the most interesting to me. Outside of school, I love to surf and explore nature. While I am a laid back guy, I do prioritize the learning of those I am teaching. As a high school valedictorian, I am well equipped with studying styles that maximize efficiency of learning.

- Start by listening to specifically what my student would like out of their session and what they are confused on
- As a college student, I know how stressful it can be to feel confused in a certain subject - I like using humor and an easygoing approach to help students be more confident
- Practice problems are what I have found to be most effective to help students feel confident in areas of confusion
- If a student needs immediate help with a certain assignment, that would take priority
- My lessons would be for elementary, middle, high school and first year college students!
