About Caoimhe
I have always had a strong interest in both science and education, which is what led me to pursue teaching at the University of Limerick. Agricultural Science, in particular, is a subject I am passionate about, as it combines real-world applications with scientific understanding in a way that is both practical and engaging. Ag Science is a subject I find to be overlooked in school and more often than not, this causes students to fall behind or find it more difficult than it needs to be. This is an extremely accessible subject once the correct help is received.
My goal as a teacher is to make learning clear, structured, and accessible for every student. I understand how demanding the Leaving Certificate can be, and I aim to support students not only in improving their grades but also in building confidence in their own ability. Having achieved a H1 myself, I know the level of preparation and exam technique required, and I enjoy helping students reach that standard.
Teaching grinds has been especially rewarding for me, as I get to work closely with students and see their progress over time. I take pride in creating a supportive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.
Ultimately, I want to help students achieve their best possible results while also gaining a genuine understanding of the subject that will benefit them beyond the exam.

I am a student teacher at the University of Limerick, specialising in Biology and Agricultural Science. I achieved a H1 in Agricultural Science in my Leaving Certificate and have over two years of experience providing grinds, with students consistently achieving excellent results.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and focus strongly on exam preparation. Each session includes clear, concise notes and practical exam tips to help maximise performance. I also provide structured guidance on completing the IIS project efficiently and to a high standard.
I offer both online and in-person lessons. Online sessions are available throughout the week, while in-person lessons are available at weekends.

I highly recommend Caoimhe for Biology lessons. Caoimhe helped me from the beginning of Leaving Cert and really grew my confidence in the subject.
