About Lakshita
Ph.D. scholar at AIIMS New Delhi with a strong foundation in biology, microbiology, and biotechnology. I simplify complex concepts in molecular biology and zoology into clear, easy-to-understand lessons (no unnecessary jargon, I promise!).
Whether you’re preparing for exams or trying to actually understand the subject, I adapt to your pace and make learning interactive and logical.
If biology feels overwhelming, I’ll help you make sense of it—one concept at a time.

My Approach as a Teacher
I am a PhD research scholar at the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi, with over three years of hands-on experience in biomedical research. My academic journey — from B.Sc. to M.Sc. Microbiology at the University of Rajasthan to doctoral research at one of India's most prestigious institutions — has given me a deep, multi-layered understanding of life sciences that I love to pass on to my students.
My Teaching Techniques & Methods
I believe that science is best understood through context, not just content. Rather than rote memorization, I connect every concept to its real-world application — whether that's explaining microbial pathways through clinical case studies, or making biochemistry tangible through the lens of actual laboratory techniques I use in my own research.
My approach is built on three pillars:
Concept clarity first - I break down complex topics into simple, logical building blocks before adding layers of detail
Active learning — I use Q&A, diagram-based explanation, and problem-solving exercises to keep sessions engaging
Research thinking — I train students to think critically and analytically, a skill that sets them apart in exams and beyond
Typical Class Structure
A standard session with me is structured yet flexible:
1. Warm-up (5–10 min) — Quick recap of the previous session or a concept-check question
2. Core teaching (30–35 min) — New topic explained with examples, diagrams, and real research context where relevant
3. Application & practice (10–15 min) — Questions, case-based discussion, or worksheet work
4. Wrap-up (5 min) — Summary of key takeaways and preview of the next session
Sessions are conducted online, tailored entirely to the student's pace and syllabus.
What Makes Me Different
AIIMS-trained scientist — You are learning from someone who applies these sciences daily at the highest level
Practical exposure — Real experience in flow cytometry, PCR, ELISA, metabolomics, and multi-omics research brings textbook topics to life
Certified in Research Methodology & GCP — I can guide students not just in subject knowledge but in **scientific thinking and academic writing**
Personalized attention — I adapt every session to the individual student's strengths, gaps, and goals
Strong communicator — With a background in scientific writing and copy-editing, I help students improve how they express their ideas in exams and reports
Who Are My Classes For?
My teaching is suitable for a wide range of learners:
Class 9–12 (CBSE/State Board)- Biology, Microbiology basics
Undergraduate (B.Sc. / MBBS / BDS)- Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences
Postgraduate (M.Sc. / PhD aspirants)- Research Methodology, Scientific Writing, Omics & advanced topics
Competitive exam students (NEET, CSIR-NET, GATE)- Life Sciences, Biology, Microbiology
Whether you are a school student building your biology foundation, a college student struggling with microbiology, or a postgraduate learner looking to sharpen your research and writing skills, I can help you get there.
*Classes available online. Flexible scheduling to suit students and working professionals.*
