About Mathilde

Aikiam is a new psycho-energetic body technique. It is a harmonious alliance of 7 ancestral and contemporary disciplines of well-being such as Yoga, stretching, Qigong, relaxation, Makko-Ho, meditation and cognitive cognitive exercises.

3 years ago, in England, while I was looking for a physical and spiritual activity to improve my acting, I was introduced to well-being through Yoga and relaxation. It was a real revelation and the trigger for my total change of path. This allowed me to connect with my inner being and to realize that I wanted to help people find themselves, calm their mind and especially to love themselves. It's my way!

Then I traveled to Asia to go in search of this culture of well-being which is very widespread in this part of the globe. I learned Makko-ho in Japan and it was in China that I discovered Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation with Master Guo.

Knowing that some people are reluctant to practice yoga (fear of hurting themselves) or meditation (fear of not relaxing their mind), I wanted to create a technique that is easy to access for all: ages, physiognomy, tasks mental, bodily flexibility. So I harmonized these disciplines in a method that I named Aikiam and thus give all the keys and tips to listen to his body, relax his mind and connect to his inner self.

Everyone, whatever their abilities, must be able to do physical, spiritual and mental activity without suffering from their own limits. This is what I propose with my Aikiam method.

Everyone, whatever their abilities, must be able to do physical, spiritual and mental activity without suffering from their own limits. This is what I propose with my Aikiam method.

So I created a technique that does not suffer from the problems encountered in other wellness disciplines such as yoga (by carrying out complicated postures) and meditation (by relaxing the mind). I extracted the essence of several wellness techniques, which I harmonized into a method called Aikiam (alliance of “Aikyam”, which means UNITY in Sanskrit and “Ki”, which translates to ENERGY).

Aikiam adapts and respects the possibilities and the age of each in order to give all the keys and tips for a peaceful experience and a real union of body and mind. It aims to maintain and strengthen the body as a whole and provides deep relaxation which reduces tension, stress and anxiety. Its benefits are felt on a physical, intellectual and emotional level.

During a session, I take my students around the world with music from all origins, surrounded by a Zen and subdued atmosphere for total disconnection. This provides deep relaxation which reduces tension, stress and anxiety.

In my teaching, we are not in the rigor of movement, position or mind. We are in the feeling and mindfulness to reach its full potential, take its place and flourish.
