About Miriam
I am a qualified Albertan Music teacher with over 20 years experience in Piano studies, a Bachelor of Music degree focussed in Music Education (that required months of lessons in each band instrument alongside personal studies in my main instrument- the Pipe Organ), a Bachelor of Education that gave me main teachable subjects of Music and Physics with 3 practicums in K-12 Music studies, experience playing Flute, Bassoon, Clarinet, and Trombone in various ensembles, and also as an alto voice and organ accompanist in a choir for 5 years.

As a musician I have experienced a great deal of 'newness' - learning each instrument was a challenge that I eagerly took on, and I believe that gave me a great foundation for teaching or coaching students through their own struggles on their instruments. I have a huge passion for music and how it forms us as intelligent, well-rounded, kind, and caring people, which hopefully I can pass onto you as we work through your own studies! I am flexible in my approach and want to support you in the way that you learn best- not necessarily how I learn.

Details
If the student cancels the lesson less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time the student must pay a cancellation fee, which is one half of the one hour tutoring rate.
