About Shimizu
I am a native Japanese speaker currently living in the United States. Having lived in the US, I can communicate in English at a conversational level, which allows me to support students who are learning Japanese. As a Japanese teacher, I focus on creating lessons that are easy to understand, enjoyable, and practical. I can help students improve their everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and understanding of Japanese culture. I believe learning a language should be fun and comfortable, so I create personalized lessons based on each student's level, goals, and interests.
