About Ariel
I took French from kindergarten until twenty two. I've had math and science taught in French and I lived in Paris.
For swimming, I swam almost everyday for thirteen years. I have over thirty pages of personal meet results on the USA swimming database. I have competed in multiple state meets and against Missy Franklin at times. Although I did not receive a scholarship for swimming, I took that skill and transferred it to surfing.

For French lessons I usually go through sentences and conversational because that is most useful in Paris. For swim lessons I start with the basics and then refine technique in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, then butterfly. I also do drills to help strength the endurance of that particular stroke. Some days are endurance base.
