About Amelie
Hi,
I’m Amelie, a 23-year-old PhD student at the University of Oxford. I offer tutoring for GCSE Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths and French, as well as A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
I achieved 9s in all of my GCSE subjects and all A*s at A-Level, giving me a strong understanding of both the content and exam techniques required to succeed. I am currently completing a PhD in Clinical Medicine at Oxford, following a degree and Master’s in Biochemistry, also at Oxford University.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence in a subject, improve exam performance, or aim for the very top grades, I would be delighted to help. I tailor sessions to each student’s needs and aim to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I also grew up in Cornwall and love the outdoors, sports and dogs!

I tailor sessions to your needs and learning styles, whether you prefer: Conceptual learning understanding the “why” behind topics rather than memorising facts, recall-based learning & spaced repetition, mind maps and visual learning or exam-question practice and mark scheme analysis...or a mix of all! We can cover specific topics you're struggling with or go through all the content you wish. Lessons are typically 1h but can be 30mins-2h and I provide lessons for all ages up to A level.
