Hello, I’m Todd and I am from New York City. A large part of my career has been spent in international business.
I recently returned to the United States after living abroad for over 25 years. I earned my MBA from Cornell University and graduated from St. Lawrence University with a degree in Economics and French.
For the past 8 years, I have been helping businesspeople at all levels improve their English to advance their careers and become more successful.
I teach with a conversational approach based on student interests in business, real-word events, everyday encounters and their daily activities. I also encourage students to read about subjects they enjoy and introduce teaching materials where appropriate. We can easily work on actual business and finance documents and presentations. My main objective will be to develop correct and confident use of real-world English.
My methodology primarily involves conversation training with very active correction combined with reading materials of interest together and supporting teaching materials. I can provide such materials when necessary.
I will be glad to speak about my business experience, particularly in finance, IT, real estate and logistics or my other interests including sports, travel, movies, literature and photography.
