About Micalah
I am currently a Sign Language Interpreter at a middle school! My degree is a B.A. in American Sign Language interpreting. Before I started my four year degree I took 2 years of ASL in high school. I graduated in 2021 and just recently finished up my first school year in education as an interpreter and am about to start my second year. Altogether I have 7 years of experience with ASL. I am very passionate about sign language and believe it is a valuable tool in life as we never know when we will need to use it!

Like with any language you will have to be comfortable with constantly pushing your skills to new levels! We will start small with basic conversational ASL and move on from there. The lessons will be very conversational to help with your receptive skills and expressive skills. I can tailor each lesson to your specific needs and pace. I work with all different levels of knowledge of ASL on a daily basis, so this does not come as anything new to me!
