My teaching method is to relate the learning subject at hand to a subject of the student's interest to allow retaining the information easier, particularly in the student's rocky topics. It is to constantly recall and practice what has been taught rather than giving information and a knowledge check (such as a test).
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Sarah is a great teacher. You can tell that she really deeply understands both the theory and practice of the math she teaches.
Sarah and I attend Vanderbilt University together, and she is an engaging person to work with! Her attention to detail and ability to take on the perspectives of those different from her will make her teaching adaptive for any student she works with. Sarah can explain concepts and situations with robust examples to ensure listeners understand her points. Additionally, her experience working in multiple research labs enables her to contextualize textbook materials, allowing students to better visualize abstract concepts and understand real-world applications of what they are learning.
