About Amina Mushtaq
I hold a Master's in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh and completed my PGCE at the University of Warwick in 2006. With over 13 years of teaching experience, I specialise in special education needs, crafting tailored lesson plans for children with learning difficulties. I have extensive subject knowledge of Mathematics and other KS1 and KS2 subjects. Proudly trained by Barnardo’s Education Partnership, I go beyond teaching by offering vital support to families. My focus includes early intervention and referral services for occupational therapy, ensuring every child receives the personalised care they deserve.

As an QTS qualified primary school teacher with a specialization in maths and expertise in 11+ test preparation, I bring a wealth of experience of working in various Birmingham primary schools. My commitment extends beyond traditional teaching—I am a specialist teacher for children with special needs and disabilities. Proudly trained by Barnardo's Education Partnership, I work seamlessly with the Occupational Therapist team and SEN Co ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to education. Join me on a transformative learning adventure, where every child's unique abilities are celebrated and nurtured.
Lesson times (in-person)
Mon - Fri: 4 pm - 6 pm
Sat - Sun: 3 pm - 7 pm

Charges: £15/hour, bundle package 4 hours £50, sibling discount 20%

My son has ADHD and ASD. Amina offered flexible time when he needed breaks. My son didn’t like maths. Now he likes using worksheets and TT rockstars for timetables. More focused in school than before. Thank you
My daughter really likes Amina. Best investment during lockdown for her progress with maths. First lesson was trail and free. We booked 6 lessons after that. My daughter has moved up her set level in class from September 2021. I will book again for her SAT exam.
