About Lauren
I graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in French and business. While at Georgetown, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Strasbourg, France. I currently work as a French teacher, but I also have 15+ years of experience tutoring French as well as English. My interest in both languages started at a young age, when I attended a K-8 school that truly emphasized literary skills and required students to take French and Latin in addition to a rigorous ELA curriculum. My studies there in my formative years set me up for success, earning a perfect score on the verbal component of the SAT and graduating at the top of my class. Today, I love to share my passion for the study of languages with my students and work with them to find their own individual path to excellence.
