About Shath
Hi, I’m Shath, an entrance exam tutor with six years of experience. I recently moved to Sheffield to study a masters of architecture and am looking to continue tutoring part time during my stay.
Before moving, I worked teaching in-person classes, providing one-to-one tutoring and running online workshops for a 11+ education centre in Milton Keynes. For the centre, I was also involved in creating its curriculum, worksheets, writing 11+ mock exam papers, and producing learning guides. During this time, I had access to an extensive archive of previous 11+ papers and resources, and acquired a gift for teaching the maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills needed for the exam.

The ISEB pre-test and the 11+ comprises Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. To cover the breadth of this and to aim to touch on each subject each week, lessons will be one and a half hours.
My Teaching Practice:
- Understanding concepts from first principles and not just memorising techniques
- Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Fostering an attention to detail
- Providing your child with a strong foundation to succeed in their secondary education as well as their entrance exams
Lessons are held online or in person (in Sheffield and Rotherham) and are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
