Outside of tutoring, I enjoy scuba diving, traveling, and teaching across the world. I love experiencing new cultures and perspectives, which deeply influences how I teach. I’m often joined by my dog Paco, my favorite adventure companion and constant reminder to stay curious.

My approach as a tutor:
My approach is centered on clarity, confidence, and connection. I believe learning works best when students feel supported, understood, and actively involved—not rushed or judged. I focus on breaking complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and adapting explanations to how each person thinks and learns.
Teaching methods & techniques:
I use a mix of guided practice, real-world examples, visuals, questioning strategies, and conversation-based learning. Rather than memorization, I emphasize understanding why things work. I also check in often to make sure concepts truly click before moving on.
A typical lesson:
Lessons usually begin with a quick check-in and review of goals. We then tackle new material or problem areas together, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice. I end each session by reinforcing key takeaways and outlining next steps so learning continues beyond the lesson.

I bring both strong academic expertise and a warm, encouraging style. With a Master’s degree and experience across science, math, and English, I’m able to support a wide range of learners while keeping lessons engaging, practical, and confidence-building.
