About Andrew
I’m originally from Australia and have spent a number of years working professionally across musical theater, film, television, and radio. I know firsthand what it’s like to audition for major roles and drama schools, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson. Alongside my performance career, I’ve worked as a drama teacher, supporting students to build confidence, skill, and creativity in a positive, encouraging environment. I’m passionate about making drama both challenging and enjoyable — for me, having fun is essential to great learning. Outside of teaching, I enjoy surfing and playing golf, and I bring that same focus, discipline, and enjoyment into my work with students.

My lessons are practical, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. I draw on Stanislavski, Meisner, and Laban-based physical theatre to help students build truthful performances, strong physical presence, and confidence. Sessions may include improvisation, script and character work, voice and movement, or audition preparation.
I’m a qualified drama teacher and professional actor, trained at Flinders Drama Centre, with experience teaching drama at secondary level in Australia and working as a performer.
Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to those preparing for exams, auditions, or performances.
